Gymnastics

Daniel Hand Gymnastics won the SCC Championship over Jonathan Law, Foran, and Hamden with a season-high score of 140.2. The Tigers have won four conference championships in a row and they have won 25 overall.

The most outstanding performer was Brooke Anderson, who won the vault, bars, floor and all around titles. The SCC Player of the Year was Olivia Consiglio. The team continued its success by winning its fourth-straight Class S State Championship on Feb. 22.

Boys Ice Hockey

The boy’s hockey team is on a hot streak late in the season. They’ve

Won their last five games heading into the postseason. They beat

Watertown/Pomperaug twice, Hamden, and North Branford.

Currently, they are ranked #18 in Connecticut. The Tigers have made a turnaround since last season; with a 13-7 record. They won their first game in the state tournament against West Haven/Oxford/Seymour/Shelton by a score of 5-3 before losing to East Haven Coop 7-2 in the quarterfinals.
